RW Steel Fabrications Ltd is a steel fabrication and welding company based in Sheffield, the Steel City. We work for construction companies, main contractors, architects, shop fitters, bar fitters, interior designers and other fabricators who need steelwork made properly and delivered when they need it.

Our workshop
Our workshop gives us 10,000 sq ft of floor space, which means we can run more than one project at a time. Our 5-tonne overhead cranes let us handle heavy sections and assemblies safely, and we have full artic lorry access, so raw steel can arrive and finished steelwork can leave without splitting loads or awkward transfers. We are based in Sheffield and work with customers across the UK.

What we do
Structural steel & welded assemblies
Fabricating structural steel and welded assemblies, including steel beams and columns.
Sheet metal work
Flashings, trims, brackets, enclosures and aluminium sill covers made to suit the job.
Gates, fencing & railings
Bespoke gates, fencing, railings, handrails and balustrades for practical and visible steelwork.
Bars, counters & fit-out
Bar tops, counters and shop fit-out steelwork for interiors that need a clean, made-to-measure finish.
Furniture & shelving
Bespoke steel and wood furniture and shelving made around the space and the materials you want to use.
Subcontract fabrication
Extra capacity for fitters and other fabricators who need another capable pair of hands.

Materials we work with
Mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, corten and zinc. Brass and copper welding is a specialist skill that few fabricators offer, which is why much of that work gets turned away elsewhere.

How we work
We start with your drawing, dimensions or a rough brief. We come back with a readable quote and an honest view of the programme, and we tell you straight away if anything changes. Fabrication happens in our controlled workshop, which gives us better control over dimensions and alignment and more consistent welding quality.
Where the finished piece will be visible, we dress and blend the welds and sand the surrounding area with a fine-grit orbital sander so the finish stays clean and blemish-free once it is coated or painted. And no job is too small — a single bracket or a one-off gate is as welcome as a full structural package.
